We're Expecting ...

... our 2nd  baby from Ethiopia. 

Joel and I are happy to announce we are on the waiting list for Ethiopia. We do not know the gender or "due date" of our little one yet. This pregnancy could be a long one, but it is worth the wait. Please continue to pray for our little one to be kept safe, healthy and happy.

Dossier completed

210 pages later and we finally sent off our dossier. This was the step we have been working so hard to complete. It is a great milestone to have not only the home study, but the dossier finished and on its way to our agency.

The next big step ... WAIT.

I have to say we are excited to be at the wait stage. This means that now we just pray for our child and his/her care. Our child could be conceived or even born already. God already knows who our child is and is caring for his/her growth and development. We pray he or she is loved and nurtured until we can get there.

We cannot wait to grow our family through another Ethiopian adoption. God has blessed us so much with Kiera and we are praying for her brother or sister daily.

Home Study Complete

A big milestone done ... Our home study for child #2. We continue to get things together for the dossier, so we are not officially waiting yet. But we are getting closer.

We cannot wait to bring our new little one home to join our family. Wee at y already praying for you, my baby ... Your big sister too.
